How long you are away: 2h30m, 45m, 1d. A bare number means minutes. Leave it out to stay AFK until you next speak.Your AFK is global: set it once and a ping in any server the bot is in gets the same answer, whichever of our bots is there. Setting one posts in the channel you ran it in, so people see it without having to ping you first. It clears the moment you send a message, wherever you send it, and you are told how long you were gone and how many people pinged you. Someone who pings you gets one notice per channel rather than one per mention, and @everyone never counts as a ping. A duration only decides when the notice stops: nothing announces your return except you. Servers can switch the notices off in /config under Ambient Responses, which leaves /afk usable as a quiet status.

Your code is never shown anywhere, including to staff.
