Terms of Use
By using the Ravens website and the Raven-chan Discord bot, you agree to these terms. They're short and mostly common sense.
The basics
- Use the site and bot for their intended community purpose.
- Follow the Ravens Discord rules and Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- Don't abuse, overload, scrape, or attempt to break the service, and don't use it to harass others or to break the law.
Your submissions
When you submit a render, memory, or other content, you confirm you have the right to share it. By submitting, you grant Ravens permission to display it on the site with attribution. Staff may decline, remove, or take down any submission at their discretion, for example if it breaks the rules or isn't a good fit. You can ask to have your own content removed at any time.
Attribution
- The character builder's spell and equipment data comes from the System Reference Document 5.1 by Wizards of the Coast, used under CC BY 4.0. The required notice: This work includes material taken from the System Reference Document 5.1 ("SRD 5.1") by Wizards of the Coast LLC and available at dnd.wizards.com. The SRD 5.1 is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
- Dice rolling uses d20 (MIT).
- The Minecraft archive's draggable pieces are images from minecraft.wiki. Its mob renders are the work of wiki contributors, used under CC BY-NC 3.0. Every one of these files, renders and block textures alike, is also copyright Mojang Studios and used under the Minecraft Usage Guidelines. Minecraft is Mojang's; this is an unofficial fan project, not affiliated with or endorsed by them. If a rights holder wants any of it removed, ask and it comes out.
- Pokémon sprites come from the PokéAPI sprite collection. AdventureQuest Worlds and Pokémon artwork remains the property of Artix Entertainment LLC and Nintendo / Creatures Inc. / GAME FREAK respectively; this is an unofficial fan project and sells no game content. See Premium below.
Premium & supporter perks
- Optional supporter subscriptions are offered through Patreon and are governed by Patreon's own terms; billing, cancellation, and refunds all happen on Patreon.
- A qualifying pledge grants a per-server premium slot you assign (and may occasionally move, subject to a cooldown) from your account page. Premium raises what a server may run at once. It never grants gameplay currency, creatures, items with gameplay effect, or any player progression.
- If a pledge lapses, the server returns to free limits. Nothing that already exists is deleted: anything running keeps running, and anything configured stays configured.
- Supporter avatar cosmetics, once granted, remain on the account they were granted to.
- Perk contents and limits may be adjusted over time; material changes will be announced in the Ravens Discord.
Availability & "as is"
Ravens is a volunteer-run project offered as is, with no guarantee of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. Features, data, and these terms may change or be discontinued at any time. To the extent allowed by law, the Ravens team isn't liable for any loss arising from use of the service.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we store and how to remove your data.
Contact
The simplest way to reach the team, including for any data request described above, is the Ravens Discord. Open a ticket or message a staff member and we'll help.
These terms are written in plain language for a community project and are not legal advice.
