New costumes and two yearly events
A hundred newer costumes join the Halloween, summer and pink themes, and the Soccer Cup and the Ravens Anniversary join the event calendar. Both events come round every year without anyone scheduling them.
- A hundred newer costumes for the Halloween, summer, pink, Christmas and Easter themes, with new species in those spawn pools.
- Costumed Mimikyu, Aegislash, Lycanroc, Meowstic, Toxtricity, Keldeo, Shaymin and the Forces of Nature now spawn in their themes, and about twenty costumes that showed plain art now show the costume.
- Shadow Pokemon now wear dark indigo Shadow art in place of the purple glow, and 60 more species can turn up as Shadows during Team Rocket Takeover.
- Your trainer sprite can wear a ground mount and a sea mount at once. In the league hub you ride the ground mount on the Acro Bike and the sea mount when you Surf.
- Soccer Cup, 15 June to 15 July: starter Pokemon from every region can spawn in their soccer kits.
- The Kickoff Incense is on sale during the Cup. It spawns only starters, and half of them wear their kit.
- Ravens Anniversary, the week from 19 October: Snorunt, Glalie, Froslass, Larvesta and Volcarona can spawn in party colours.
- Each event has a daily boss, Captain Corvus and Elder Huginn, and beating one sends you a costumed Pokemon to catch.
Soccer Cup
All 75 starters from Kanto to Galar, and the Hisuian ones, can spawn in their kit. A starter in kit keeps it when it Mega Evolves.
Find it under Special Incense in /pokeshop while the Cup is on. It only lights during the Cup.
Challenge him once a day with /poke eventboss.
Ravens Anniversary
Larvesta and Volcarona come in three colourways each. Collect them in /dex event.
Challenge him once a day with /poke eventboss.
Shadow Pokemon
More than a hundred Pokemon and forms have Shadow art of their own, and every other Shadow, costumes included, is drawn in the same dark indigo. No more purple glow.
Team Rocket Takeover can now spawn Shadow starters, dragons and legends up to Gen 6 alongside the Colosseum and XD ones. The new legends are about as rare as Shadow Lugia, which stays 1 Shadow in 1,600.
A purified Pokemon shows its own art again, and a Shadow is never drawn shiny.
