Seventy-five Pokemon fixes
A long run of Pokemon fixes. Battles finish the way they should, balls are only spent when a throw really happens, trades settle on both sides or not at all, and a released Pokemon hands back its held item. Seasonal events spawn their costumed Pokemon again.
- Battles no longer end on their own partway through, and old buttons cannot replay a finished one.
- Releasing a Pokemon puts its held item back in your bag, in Discord and on the site.
- Halloween and the other seasonal events spawn costumed Pokemon again.
- A trade settles on both sides or not at all.
Battles
A battle no longer ends on its own partway through.
Leftover move buttons cannot re-run one or pay the winner twice.
After a KO, U-turn, Volt Switch or Flip Turn, both players can act on the next turn. No more lockouts or repeated moves.
Fleeing, timing out or /cleanup me during a Tower battle banks your BP and streak. Bank and Leave cannot be pressed twice.
Pokemon keep their HP and status when switched out, in PvP and trainer battles. Natural Cure and Regenerator work on switch-out.
It offers your chosen battle team.
One that times out sends out your next Pokemon, and the battle carries on.
Growl, Leer, String Shot and the like lower the foe’s stats, not your own.
They stop status moves too, and so do choice items and recharge.
They give +20%, not +44%.
Both work the right way round.
Both respect the type chart, sleep, freeze and PP.
King’s Shield, Spiky Shield and Baneful Bunker have Protect’s priority.
Dazzling, Queenly Majesty and Armor Tail block priority moves.
Leftovers, Black Sludge, burn and poison add up. One no longer wipes out another.
One is used once, and only the Pokemon holding it loses it. It stays used if that Pokemon switches out and back in.
It respects a channel’s battle block.
Catching
Halloween and the rest spawn costumed Pokemon again, and Event Incense spawns costumes.
The grids fill in again.
It catches while fishing and in wormholes, and seals its catch in shadow every time, as /catch does.
At high multipliers, like an 8x Level Ball, they can catch while fishing and in wormholes.
It never picks a ball for you. If you did not pick one and have no Poke Balls, nothing is spent.
Throwing at a spawn someone just caught keeps your ball.
It never spends a ball you do not have.
It is one-time. Releasing your Pokemon does not let you pick a new starter.
Zacian, Zamazenta, Eternatus, Kubfu, Urshifu, Regieleki, Regidrago, Glastrier, Spectrier, Calyrex, Type: Null, Silvally, Poipole, Naganadel, Stakataka and Blacephalon are legendary-rare and count toward the legends badges. A fused Calyrex, Necrozma or Kyurem still counts.
Its trial no longer needs you to own a Zarude already.
Region, type, Pink and Event Incense no longer spawn them. Golden Incense still can.
Meloetta is out of the pool.
It compares whole species names: Tapu Koko, Porygon-Z, Nidoran and the rest.
Two at once no longer leave an uncatchable Pokemon in the channel.
It no longer locks you out when the cast message is deleted or your DMs fail.
A Wormhole Ticket comes back if the wormhole cannot load, and /wormhole will not take your ticket when you have no balls.
Box and trades
A trade settles on both sides or not at all. If an offered Pokemon left its owner, the trade is cancelled.
A released Pokemon gives its held item back to your bag, in Discord and on the site.
They pay for what was actually released.
They cannot be duplicated through two open panels.
Plates can be equipped with it, and items past the 25th in a category can be reached.
Event forms are kept apart from the plain species.
A traded Pokemon arrives without the old owner’s favourite mark.
The slot button answers when that Pokemon has left.
/battleteam view works again, and saved teams drop Pokemon you traded or listed, on the site too.
A fused Kyurem, Necrozma or Calyrex counts against a server’s restricted list.
Evolution and daycare
Oval Stone, Razor Claw and Razor Fang are required and spent for Happiny, Sneasel and Gligar.
Nidoran, Mime Jr., Jangmo-o, Hakamo-o, Type: Null and Galarian Mr. Mime can evolve.
It no longer turns back into Porygon2.
One evolution item, one evolution.
A level-up offers every new move and never re-teaches one your Pokemon already knows.
They stay with the move they were used on.
It shows the right pre-evolution moves.
It is not wasted at the level cap.
It does not breed legendaries, mythicals or babies.
Its eggs hatch Phione.
Each one hatches once.
Pairs like Mimikyu can lay eggs.
Events and quests
They no longer expire after 15 minutes or a restart. If your DMs are closed, clone and seasonal prizes wait in the battle channel for you.
One cannot be launched twice before its cooldown starts.
It can be earned again.
Claim cannot summon over and over, and a summoned mythic can only be caught by its summoner.
Worn items and the shop’s Metal Coat count. Deoxys, Shaymin, Keldeo and Meloetta trials can be claimed.
Fused legendaries battle as their fused form, and unfusing a traded fusion gives the half to its current owner.
A listed Mega reverts to its base form and keeps its stone.
They lose their Shadow moves and take normal damage from them.
/poke mint, abilitypatch, ppup and ppmax work there.
Pokedex
It finds Giratina, Mr. Mime, Type: Null, Tapu Koko and other names as people type them.
It accepts the species name however it is typed.
Paging works from page 1.
They count the 898 national dex Pokemon only, in Discord and on your /me page.
Spawn tips and help match how the balls, shiny hunts and PvP really work.
For mods
/pokemod giveball, evoitem, givebp, rocketreset and eventspawn work only for the bot owner and mods of the home server.
With no channel, it clears only this server.
One nobody answers expires after a day, and /cleanup mod can clear stuck ones.
A Champion who leaves one with /cleanup me loses the title.
Removing a gym leader, Elite Four member or region works and no longer locks the Elite Four.
It uploads badges too.
