Pokedex, music and friends in the league hub The league hub has a Pokedex, plays Emerald's music and sounds, lets you whisper, friend and block other members, and keeps a Quick run going through a restart. - The league hub has a Pokedex on the Start menu. It reads the same Pokedex as /dex, so a Pokemon caught in Discord shows as caught in the hub too. - The hub plays Emerald's own music and sound effects, read from your copy of the game. Options sets how loud each one is. - Whisper other members, keep a Friends list and block anyone you like. Tap a player to see their Trainer Card or challenge them on our Showdown. - Hub Pokemon learn new moves when they level up. Quick runs now branch, have trainers to beat and carry on after a restart. **League hub** Pokedex: The hub has a Pokedex, the first entry on the Start menu. It lists every Pokemon with the ones you have seen and caught, and you can find one by number or name. It reads the same Pokedex as /dex, so a Pokemon caught in Discord shows as caught in the hub too. Pokedex entries: The first 386 show the entry from your own copy of Emerald, with the category, height, weight, footprint and picture. Later Pokemon show the name, types and the entry Raven-chan has for them. The AREA tab says where each one turns up in the hub, such as which Safari Zone areas or incenses. Seen in battle: Every Pokemon you face in a hub battle counts as seen in the hub Pokedex. Your /dex count in Discord only counts what you catch, as before. Evolving in the hub: Evolving a Pokemon in the hub now counts both forms as caught in your Pokedex. Music: The hub now plays Emerald's own music, read from your copy of the game. Every room has its song, going through a door fades to the next room's song, and the Acro Bike and Surf have their own. Sound effects: Doors, bumps, ledges, the PC, the Start menu, the party, the Bag and the Marts make the sounds they make in Emerald. Battle sounds: Battles play their theme, each Pokemon's cry, the sounds of the move animations, a sound for each hit by how effective it was, the catch jingle and the victory song. The room's music comes back when the battle ends. Fanfares: Healing, a level up, an evolution, Battle Points and a badge or League win each play their Emerald fanfare. Sound options: Options has SOUND (mono or stereo), MUSIC and SOUND EFFECTS, each OFF, LOW, MID or HIGH. Sound starts with your first key press or tap, and the hub goes quiet while its tab is hidden or you are playing in another tab. Cries: Pokemon from the first three generations cry as they do in Emerald. Later Pokemon have no cry in the hub for now. Whispers: Type /w, a member's name and your message to whisper them anywhere in the hub, and /r to answer the last whisper. Put a name with spaces in double quotes. Friends: The chat panel has a Friends list that shows which room each friend is in. You see a note when a friend comes into the hub. Block: Block a member from Who is here or their Trainer Card. You stop seeing their chat, whispers and emotes, and they cannot whisper you, add you as a friend or challenge you. Emotes: Three buttons under the chat box show Emerald's emotion icons over your player for everyone nearby. Trainer Card: The Start menu has your Trainer Card, with your badges, Elite Four and Champion wins, your best Battle Tower streak, any League seat and the day you joined. Player cards and challenges: Tap another player, or face them and press A, to see their Trainer Card. From there you can whisper them, add them as a friend, block them or challenge them to a battle on our Showdown. Running and friendship: Holding B now runs indoors too, in Pokemon Centers, gyms, the League and the Tower lobby. Hub Pokemon gain friendship whenever they gain EXP and from Luxury Ball catches, so friendship evolutions can be reached in the hub. New moves on level up: Pokemon in the hub learn their new moves when they level up, in battle or from an Exp. Candy, with the same questions as the games when they already know four. If the bot is slow, the moves wait and the hub asks about them later. Option menu and nicknames: The Start menu has an Option entry for text speed, battle animations, running without holding B and the window frame. You can give a Pokemon a nickname right after you catch it, or later from its summary in your party or the PC. Runs survive a restart: A deploy or restart no longer ends a Quick run. You pick up again at the start of the room you were in, with your party, Healing Flask and catches as they were. Run paths: A run's path now branches and joins the way Emerald Rogue lays one out, with Pokemon Centers and empty stretches along the way. When you pick where to go next, a map of your path shows every way on and the den at the end. Run trainers: Trainers from Emerald Rogue stand along a run's routes. Face one and press A to battle. You cannot run or throw Balls, and a win gives one and a half times the EXP and pays run money, which the run panel shows. Your money and the trainers you beat are kept across a restart. **Auctions** Cosmetics won at auction: An avatar cosmetic you win at an auction now goes straight into your wardrobe. Anyone who won one before and never got it has it now. Full version: https://ravensaqw.com/updates/2026-10-hub-pokedex
