Your own voice channel, brackets you can fix, and a tunnel that explains itself Join a hub and get a voice channel of your own. A tournament result entered wrong is fixable now, from Discord or the site, without breaking the bracket. The cross-server tunnel carries reactions, typing, stickers and server emoji, can log what it does to a channel, and /tunnel status says in plain words what happened to the last message. Along the way a few ways of minting feathers were closed, the AI chat gained four named characters and lost the guide answers, and the music moved to a source that sounds better. - Temporary voice channels: join the hub, get your own, name it, lock it, cap it. It goes when the last person leaves. - Tournaments: /tournament correct, unreport, place, swap and score fix a wrong result without the bracket losing track. - Tunnels carry reactions, typing, stickers and your server emoji, and /tunnel log writes what they do to a channel. - Four named characters for the AI chat: Adler, Shanks, Iroh and a gyaru. The AQW guide answers were switched off. **Temporary voice channels** A mod runs /vc hub on a voice channel. Everything after that is automatic. Join the hub, get a room: Anyone who joins the hub channel is moved into a fresh voice channel of their own. It stays up while people are in it and goes about thirty seconds after the last person leaves, so a dropped connection does not cost you the room. It is yours while you are in it: /vc name, /vc limit, /vc lock and /vc unlock do what they say, and /vc kick removes somebody from it. If the owner leaves and the rest of you carry on talking, /vc claim takes it over; it is refused while the owner is still there. **Tournaments you can fix** Every one of these keeps the bot posting the next pairings on its own. The wrong name on the right match: /tournament correct swaps a reported winner, and if the next match was already played on the strength of the wrong result, cascade voids those results so they can be reported again. The scores travel with the winner, so a two nil does not end up the wrong way round. A result on the wrong match: /tournament unreport puts a match back to unplayed and empties the seats it filled. A player dropped by mistake is brought back the same way, since a forfeit is a result like any other. /tournament score changes only the score of a settled match, never who won. Moving people around: /tournament swap trades two entrants between unplayed matches and re-posts the pairings. /tournament place seats somebody in an unplayed match, and refuses a seat that another match still decides. /tournament match shows one match: who sits where, where the winner and loser go, and which fix applies. Changing the shape: A running single elimination can become double elimination in place, and while nothing has been reported yet any format can swap for any other. The staff page on the site has the same controls, Void and Seat an entrant included, and a winner score entered on its own records as two nil instead of nothing. **The tunnel grew up** Cross-server chat, a couple of weeks in. More of the conversation crosses: React to a message and the other servers get a reaction from the bot saying somebody over there did. You can see when someone on the other side is typing. Stickers arrive as their picture, forwarded messages come through, and a server emoji shows up properly in the other servers whether it was typed or put on as a reaction, even when the other server runs our other bot. Moderation follows through: A purge takes its messages out of every server they reached, a delete works after the bot has restarted, and an edit keeps the quote and the ping it was posted with. A long reply no longer vanishes on the way. It tells you what it did: /tunnel status opens with a verdict and then says, per server, whether the bot can post there and what happened to the last message from it. /tunnel log sends the activity to a channel: servers joining and leaving, blocks, edits and deletes with their text, and the first time a message could not be delivered somewhere. level all adds one line per message. The bot owner can set a global log that hears every tunnel. **The AI chat** In servers where a mod has switched it on. AQWired can run it too now. Four named characters: Russell Adler, Red-Haired Shanks and Uncle Iroh join Sepulchure, each written off the real page rather than from memory, and a gyaru joins the archetypes. The six costume voices and the two plain tones came off the picker to make room; a server already using one keeps it. The guide answers are gone: Answering AQW questions from the community guides kept treating ordinary chat as a game question, so it was switched off. She points at the AQW wiki instead of guessing at a quest step. She means it when she stops talking to you: If you needle her until she says she is done, she is done for five minutes, and an apology ends it early. Two of our bots in one server will occasionally say something to each other, one exchange and no more; /aichat botchat sets how often. She can send the server stickers, and mods can let her write the fat thumbs reply to an edit herself. **Feathers** Five leaks closed: Hall of Fame paid its bounty on every re-post, releasing paid whether or not anything was released, clearing a stuck High-Low charged the stake twice, a reaction could be paid for over and over, and both sides confirming a trade at once settled it twice. None of those mint any more, and the bank cannot be overdrawn by using two of our bots at the same moment. A thousand prayers means something: The luck score used to stop paying past plus or minus a thousand. At that point you are now Dawn of the Sun God or Ruler of Domains: a blessing has a chance to turn a robbery away without spending your Vault Token, and a curse has a chance to break a ward. Neither one creates a feather. **For mods** Which emoji nobody uses: /emoji usage lists your custom emoji and stickers least used first, counted since the bot started counting, and /emoji purge deletes the never-used ones after showing you the list. Anything added recently is never offered. The unverified role on join: A toggle in /config under Verifier Guilds gives the unverified role to everyone who joins, the job a second bot used to do. Off unless you turn it on. When the bot cannot assign a role it now says which of the three reasons it is, and Administrator does not get it past a role above its own. Smaller things: /mod cmd takes a picture straight from Discord, no link needed, and Host images here moves a command's existing pictures onto the site. /mute cleans up voice text chats too. A lapsed boost freezes a booster role instead of deleting it, so boosting again brings back the same role. Every staff command now asks Discord for the same permission, Manage Messages, so a mod role that can see one can see all of them. **Elsewhere** Dice: r!death rolls a death save and keeps the tally, with the natural one and natural twenty rules and damage at zero counted for you. r!spell and r!item look a spell or an item up without spending a slot, and neither needs a character. Music: Songs come from Deezer first and fall back to YouTube, which is why they sound better than they did. The skip button no longer reports a failure for a skip that worked.
